Lysine

Lysine is an amino acid that our body cannot produce and therefore must be consumed from the diet or through supplementation. Foods that contain lysine include beans, yogurt, milk, meat, cheese, wheat germ, yeast as well as other animal proteins. Foods that have a low protein content include grains such as corn and wheat.
